General Flashings
Tim needed a vintage car shed that was tough, stylish, and built to last. His classic cars needed secure storage, but the shed also had to look like it belonged on the property. Because of the tricky soil and the weight of multiple vehicles, the build needed to be extra solid. Getting the foundation right was the first step. Debret drilled deep piers into weathered rock to stop movement and poured 150mm thick concrete in high-load zones. After that, the modern skillion roof, custom horizontal wall cladding, and smart layout brought everything together. In the end, this was more than just a shed. It was a purpose-built workshop made for protection and practicality.

Debret managed every stage of the project to make sure Tim’s vintage car shed was built right from the ground up. Unlike many builders who outsource parts of the job, Debret handled everything in-house. From engineering approvals to final construction, they kept the process smooth and hassle-free. First, the team excavated and prepared the site. They carefully managed the tricky soil conditions to avoid long-term stability issues. Then, they drilled deep piers into rock and poured a reinforced 150mm slab in the high-load areas. These areas would hold multiple vehicles, so strength was critical. Once the foundation was set, the shed was built using high-end materials chosen for durability, security, and weather resistance. Every feature was planned to create a space that was both practical and great to look at. From start to finish, Debret delivered a build that offered strength, precision, and long-lasting quality.
Tim wanted a shed that was practical, secure, and looked great. To make that happen, Debret designed the layout with multiple roller doors for easy access. Then, they added skylights to the skillion roof. This brought in plenty of natural light and reduced the need for artificial lighting. Next, the team installed whirlybirds to improve airflow and keep the shed well ventilated. For extra convenience, they included a PA door on the side, giving Tim a quick and easy entry point. Finally, they built a custom rock retaining wall. This helped the shed blend naturally into the surroundings and gave the whole space a polished finish.

A great shed should do more than just provide storage. It should complement the property and blend seamlessly with its surroundings. Tim’s vintage car protection shed was finished with COLORBOND® Monument® wall sheeting, giving it a sleek, modern look that fit naturally into the landscape. The horizontal cladding added a bold, architectural touch, while the practical layout allowed for easy movement of vehicles and tools. Thoughtful design and soft, neutral tones kept the shed from feeling imposing. Instead, it became a well-integrated feature that looked like it had always been part of the property.
