Brisbane City Council needed a large multi-shed project to support their operations in Eagle Farm. This area is a key industrial hub in Brisbane. Debret were brought in to install nine separate structures, each built for a specific use. These included truck wash bays, storage sheds, and maintenance workshops. The project had to meet strict safety rules and handle the weight of heavy vehicle traffic. It also required smooth coordination with different council departments. In the end, Debret delivered strong, practical sheds that now support the council’s daily logistics and servicing work.

General Flashings
Building a large multi-shed project for Brisbane City Council came with a few challenges. Each shed needed to suit a different purpose, like a truck wash bay, storage unit, or workshop. On top of that, the structures had to cope with constant vehicle movement, wash-down chemicals, and heavy equipment. Debret made sure every shed was properly designed, engineered, and built to handle the demands of a tough industrial site.

Engineered for compliance with council safety standards
Delivering a large multi-shed project took more than just building sheds. It meant managing complex approvals, strict safety rules, and tight timelines. Debret handled all engineering, council approvals, and site coordination. This kept the project on track and each shed built to spec. With several departments involved, clear communication was essential. Debret worked closely with Brisbane City Council to streamline approvals, plan the schedule, and reduce disruption on site. From earthworks and concrete slabs to compliance checks and handover, Debret delivered a smooth, stress-free build.
Some of the most complex sheds in this project were the truck wash bays. They were built to handle heavy-duty cleaning and servicing. These sheds needed high roofs, secure frames for wash equipment, and custom sizes to fit different trucks. Since they didn’t have roller doors, they were fully open to the weather. Because of that, they had to be engineered for maximum strength and durability.

The Eagle Farm shed precinct is now fully operational. It plays a key role in Brisbane City Council’s fleet management, storage, and maintenance work. The sheds are visible from Southern Cross Way, showing Debret’s ability to deliver large-scale, high-quality commercial builds. With more projects on the way, Debret continues to work closely with the council. The goal is to keep their facilities functional, compliant, and built to last.
