The LBK Group needed a tough truck shed that could keep up with daily fleet servicing and storage. Their old setup just wasn’t cutting it. The repairs were taking too long as their previous space was tight. So, they called in Debret. We designed and built a 16m x 24m servicing shed with a reinforced concrete slab, built-in service pit, and mezzanine storage. Now, the LBK team has the space they need to get trucks in, sorted, and back on the road fast.

Trucking sits at the core of LBK Group’s business, so they needed a shed that could keep up. A basic setup wouldn’t cut it. They needed a tough, purpose-built space for on-site servicing, fleet storage, and quick repairs. The surface also had to stand up to oil, grease, and constant vehicle movement without wearing it out. On top of that, they needed mezzanine storage for tools and parts, so the main floor stayed clear for work. It was a big job, but Debret was ready to take it on.

A truck servicing shed isn’t just about size. It needs serious strength. That’s why Debret took care of the whole job from start to finish. First, we kicked things off with earthworks and site leveling to create a solid base. Then we poured a custom concrete slab with reinforced footings, built to handle the daily pressure of heavy trucks. After that, we put up a high-strength steel frame with a 6m eave height. This made it easy for trucks to move in and out. We also added large roller doors and skylights for better access and natural light. Along the way, Debret sorted the council approvals, engineering, and final install. In the end, LBK Group got a fully managed build that is built to last.
A high-performance truck shed should make life easier for the people using it every day. That’s why this one was packed with smart features. The concrete was poured with a built-in truck service pit, giving mechanics easy access under each vehicle. A stormwater system was also installed to stop water from pooling around the work area. Three large roller doors make it simple to move trucks in and out. Plus, skylights and whirlybirds improve the lighting and keep the air flowing.

This 24-metre-long shed with a 6-metre eave height really makes a statement. The extra roof clearance gives large trucks plenty of room to move, keeping the servicing area open and easy to work in. Strong COLORBOND® Jasper® walls and a Dune® roof create a clean, professional look that ties in with the other buildings on site. This isn’t just a tough truck shed. It’s a purpose-built industrial facility that fits perfectly into the day-to-day running of the business.
