This caravan and boat storage shed in Warner was custom-built for Phil, who needed space for his caravan, tinny, tools, and to tidy up the backyard. His old pool had to go, the block dropped off steeply, and the driveway didn’t even reach the shed site. So, we took it from dirt to done: fixing the slope, sorting drainage, and setting up a tough COLORBOND® shed that could handle the gear and the ground conditions. The result is a serious piece of kit with wide roller doors for easy access and insulation that keeps the space cool and usable year-round.

This caravan and boat storage shed couldn’t go up without tackling the site first. Phil’s backyard had a broken-down pool and a steep slope running away from the house. We knocked the pool out, benched the slope properly, and held it up with a 35 metre concrete sleeper retaining wall. The clay soil was tough going, so we used deep piers and clean compacted fill. With proper drainage built in from the start, this site was rock-solid before we touched a piece of steel.

From council paperwork to final install, Debret managed every stage of this caravan and boat storage shed. After approvals were through, we worked around heavy rain and even a cyclone to get the job done on time. We tried to stage the build to stay ahead of the weather – protecting trenches, pours, and reinforcement between storms. Once the ground was ready, we laid a thick 180 m² slab, installed tank pads, and tied the new shed into the driveway for easy access.
This caravan and boat storage shed needed to be easy to use. With two wide roller doors (5m and 4m), Phil can drive straight in without fiddling around. Inside, the space is full-height and open, with three big windows to let in natural light. We fitted the roof with insulation and sealed the whole thing off with vermin flashings. The frame is solar-ready too, so it’s set for upgrades down the track. It’s secure, practical, and built to suit how Phil actually uses it.

This caravan and boat storage shed gave the whole property a proper lift. The COLORBOND® Bluegum walls and Ironstone trims create a clean, modern look that ties in well with the house. We matched the new driveway to the rest of the block, keeping everything level and easy to access. It’s a shed that looks like it belongs and adds everyday function to the space.
